Orchestration

I am using the following system: the first group of figures refers to the woodwind; flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, the second to the brass; horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba. Figures and words after a `d’ indicate doubling on additional instruments. A `+’ indicates additional players on the normal subsidiary instruments, respectively piccolo, cor anglais, bass/Eb clt, contrabassoon. Non-standard instruments or unusual doublings are specified individually.
